Excellent conditions for recreational and competitive sports activities

Here, the best athletes train! Just 4 km away from us is the Olympic Training Center in Spała, with its sports infrastructure including pools, tennis courts, and sports fields. Additionally, the surrounding area offers fantastic cycling routes, scenic trails, and kayaking trips along the Pilica River. It's an ideal river for recreational and family kayaking adventures. If you're looking for more adrenaline, we invite you to the mountain kayak course in Drzewica. Fans of extreme water sports will find suitable conditions for hydrospeed and freestyle activities. And if you feel like ice skating in July, no problem! The Ice Arena, one of the most modern, year-round ice rinks in Europe, is just a 15-minute drive from us.

Pristine nature

We are located in the heart of the Spala Landscape Park, which encompasses the Pilica River valley and valuable nature reserves such as Konewka, Żądłowice, Spała, Gać, Jeleń, and Sługocice. The meandering Pilica River boasts exceptional scenic values and provides favorable habitats for numerous plant and animal species. Within the park's boundaries, there are over 800 plant species, 139 bird species (of which 136 are protected), and 31 mammal species. Here, you can encounter boars, roe deer, red deer, and fallow deer, among others. The Pilica River and its oxbows are home to 28 fish species and one representative of lampreys - the brook lamprey. We also have a specific microclimate here. The presence of extensive forest complexes reduces the diurnal and annual temperature fluctuations, increases and regulates humidity, weakens wind speed, and filters sunlight. Additionally, the abundance of coniferous trees saturates the air with aromatic substances that have antibacterial properties and stimulate the respiratory system.

Interesting historical places

The history of our region dates back to the Middle Ages. We are located on the border area of three ancient provinces of Poland: Greater Poland, Lesser Poland, and Mazovia. The location amidst vast forests and at the crossroads of trade routes has long attracted people from various backgrounds - royal families, German soldiers, and Polish presidents. In Inowłódz, it is worth seeing the Romanesque church of St. Idzi, the old Synagogue (currently a shop), and the ruins of the King Kazimierz’s Castle. Spała was a former hunting ground of the Russian tsars and a residence of the presidents of the Second Polish Republic. In the village of Studzianna-Poświętne, there is a church-monastery complex of the Filippini Order, representing a valuable example of Baroque architecture. We also have numerous bunkers and wartime fortifications. One of the largest is the railway bunker in Konewka.
